It is a great honor and privilege for me to be the Vice Chancellor of the first ever public sector University in the erstwhile FATA (Federally Administered Tribal Areas). The establishment of a higher education institution in the erstwhile FATA has been a long-standing demand of the people of this region. The establishment of the FATA University in 2016 is an important milestone in the educational landscape of the region. FATA University is Located in one of the most historically significant and culturally rich area of Pakistan. The University epitomizes the nation's commitment to promoting education and development in the erstwhile FATA. The University offers a wide range of academic programs in various disciplines to provide a comprehensive education that meets both national and regional needs. By promoting research, innovation and critical thinking, FATA University contributes not only to individual intellectual growth but also to the socio-economic development of the region. Currently, FATA University offers BS programs in 15 disciplines. However, after moving to our newly constructed campus, we will be introducing three more disciplines in the near future. In addition, the University serves as a hub for cultural exchange and community engagement, fostering a spirit of inclusion and collaboration among its students, faculty and staff. Through partnerships with local stakeholders and international institutions, FATA University strives to create a vibrant academic environment that prepares graduates for the challenges of a globalized world.
