BS (4-years) Program in Mathematics

Background

It is a four years (eight semesters) degree program which has been designed to equip the students with adequate knowledge and skills. Students will be required to carry out course work comprising of subjects from Mathematics and other fields of study as per HEC requirements. Students will be required to develop a mathematical solution for an engineering / scientific area as a project work.

Program Objectives

The main objective of this degree program is to provide students with thorough understanding of the theories, principles, analytical and computational techniques in the field of mathematics which will prepare them for post-graduate study.

Award of Degree

To be eligible for the award of BS in Mathematics Degree, a student is required to earn prescribed number of credit hours with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50 out of 4.
